Preview renders inside the PixelateCaptureManager inspector after you assign a Target and Capture Camera.
Draw modes
| Mode | Use when |
|---|
| Lit | Check the stepped lit result with Pixelate’s fixed preview light. |
| Unlit | Check diffuse color without preview lighting. |
| Normal | Inspect generated normal-map output. |
Lit and Normal are available when Normal Map is enabled in the profile. If normal maps are off, Pixelate uses Unlit preview.
Animation preview
When Animation is enabled and a Source Clip is assigned, use Preview Frame to sample a specific frame. The play and loop controls preview the selected animation without entering Play Mode.
Preview Draw Mode and the loop toggle are saved as Unity Editor preferences. Preview Frame is temporary preview state for the selected capture manager.
Empty preview
If the preview is empty, check Target, Capture Camera, Cell Size, Animator setup for animated clips, and whether the capture camera can see the target.
