A PixelateProfile stores reusable look settings. A capture manager stores scene-specific setup, such as Target, Capture Camera, Source Clips, preview state, and Export Location.

Create a profile

1

Select the capture manager

Select the GameObject with PixelateCaptureManager.
2

Find the Pixelate Profile card

The profile card appears in the inspector after the basic setup fields.
3

Create or assign a profile

Create a new profile from the card, or drag an existing PixelateProfile into the profile field.
4

Edit shared settings

Use Color Palette, Normal Map, and Render to change the profile.

What profiles control

SectionControls
Color PaletteAuto palette, custom palette, palette detail, and custom color count.
Normal MapNormal-map output, lighting steps, and material pipeline.
RenderCell size, linked cell-size axes, pivot, and pixelated import settings.

What stays local

These settings stay on each PixelateCaptureManager:
  • Target
  • Capture Camera
  • Animation Source Clips
  • Frames Per Second
  • Preview frame and preview draw mode
  • Export Location
  • Override Captures
Use one profile for a character set when every animation should share the same cell size, palette, pivot, and normal-map settings.
